After having worked in the advertising field, Sandro Dossi began his comics career at the publishing house Bianconi. He started out illustrating 'Felix the Cat' (based on the character created by Otto Messmer and Pat Sullivan) in the 1960s, followed by 'Braccio di Ferro' ('Popeye', based on the character created by E.C.
