Comic book artist Gary Kwapisz drew for The Comics Journal between 1979 and 1982. He was on DC's 'New Talent Showcase' in 1984. The in the 1980s he worked on Marvel's 'Conan' as well as 'Moon Knight', 'Ka-Zar: Guns of the Savageland' and 'The Punisher'.
