Vernon Greene

Vernon Van Atta Greene's first work in cartooning was for the Portland Telegram doing sports cartoons. In 1940, Greene broke into the pulp and comic book field, illustrating 'Shadow', 'Masked Lady' and 'Perry Mason'. He also spent six years ghosting 'Polly and Her Pals' for Cliff Sterrett.
