Thierry Gioux was born near the coast of Normandy, and lived there until leaving Rouen for the Basque country in 1998. After studying English Language and Plastic Arts, he began working on his first comic projects. His first albums were the landscape format-shaped 'Déserteurs!' (Futuropolis, 1988) and the third volume in the series 'Si le Coran m'Était Conté' (script by Youssef Seddik, Alef, 1989). He also cooperated on some fanzines and succeeded Philippe Adamov on the series 'Le Vent des Dieux', starting with the sixth album in 1991.…Comiclopedia
