Mal Eaton was the artist of the stone age comic strip 'Peter Piltdown'. The strip debuted as a Sunday page on 4 August 1935 and was distributed through Miller Services. It was briefly continued under the title 'Pookie' as a filler strip for Eaton's new comic 'Tizzy' in the New York Herald-Tribune in 1947-48. The strip returned as 'Rocky Stoneaxe' in the comics section of Boys' Life magazine a couple of years later until the 1970s.…Comiclopedia
