Ken Meyer Jr. was born in Isabella, Puerto Rico, as the son of an American airforce man. He moved a lot when he was a kid, eventually ending up in Savannah, Georgia. He went to college in Utah, and after that he tramped through the USA. He became a game card illustrator and comic artist, and has worked for publishers such as Marvel, Dark Horse, Eclipse, Image and Caliber.
