Joseph Michael Linsner learned reading from comic books at an early age, and became a self-taught comic artist. In 1987, he created the character Dawn, and in 1989 the first issue of the series 'Cry for Dawn' appeared. Dawn represents the Mother Goddess, and Joe Linsner created a whole world and mythology around her. His work is very popular and his art is much sought after.
