John Forte started his career drawing for Atlas in 1941, drawing for many war and mystery titles. He worked for several other publishers throughout the 1940s and 1950s. He did several of ACG's supernatural titles, and romance titles for Quality. He was transfered to DC together with some of these titles in 1958. At DC, he did pencil work for 'Jimmy Olsen' and 'Lois Lane' stories, and the inks on Curt Swan's work. He is best known for his work on 'Tales from the Bizarro World' and as one of the first regular artists on 'The Legion of Super-Heroes' in Adventure Comics.…Wikipedia
