After his studies in applied arts, Jérôme Jouvray studied illustration at the atelier of Claude Lapointe at the Academy of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg. There, he took courses in comics, illustration and animation. Graduated in 1996, he began working on an animation project, together with his wife Anne Claire Thibault Jouvray, and Laure Nollet. He works in the television and animation field, until he did his first comics project with his college friend Denis Roland in 1998.
