Hal Rasmusson (January 11, 1900 – 1962) was an American cartoonist best known for the comic strip Aggie Mack, about a teenage girl. Born in Crookston, Minnesota, Rasmusson grew up in Minneapolis, where he attended the Minneapolis School of Art for two years. He started his career doing fashion illustration. Moving to Chicago, he freelanced for several years, eventually taking a job creating greeting cards for Gibson Cards in Cincinnati for five years. He received the credit line "by Hal Rasmusson" on the back of his Gibson Cards. After Rasmusson married, he moved to New York where he worked as an art director for five years…Wikipedia
