Edmund Marion Ashe, Jr., better known as Edd Ashe, had a long career in graphic and plastic art as a realistic illustrator, although he is hardly known with the general public. His father, E. M. Ashe, was a renowned illustator (until the early years of the 20th century) and then a fine artist.
