Chris Samnee is an American comic book artist, originally from St. Louis. He published his first artwork at age 15. It was a Silver Age-style 'Batman' story for Big Bang Comics by Image Comics. He held several odd jobs in the following years, including barista at Border Books, while also contributing to comic books like 'FemForce' (AC Comics), Harvey Pekar's 'American Splendor' and Greg Rucka's 'Queen & Country' (Oni Press). He was nominated for the Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award for his work on the Oni Press graphic novel 'Capote in Kansas' in 2006.…Wikipedia
