Vincent Bailly studied at the School for Decorative Arts of Strasbourgh from 1985 on. He began his professional career illustrating for publishing houses like Nathan, Coprur and Le Crédit Mutuel. His first comic album was the first episode of the 'Coeur de Sang' series, released by Delcourt. He took on a collaboration with Edifa Jeunesse publishers in 1997, for which he did the monthly comic 'Qu'as-Tu Vu, Lulu?' in the juvenile Maxilien magazine.
