Sonic the Hedgehog was an American comic book published by Archie Comics, based on Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise. It began in November 1992 as a four-issue limited series, before running as an ongoing series for 290 issues until December 2016. Writers included Michael Gallagher, Ken Penders, Karl Bollers, and Ian Flynn; artists included Scott Shaw, Patrick Spaziante, Steven Butler, and Tracy Yardley.
