Javier Saltares began his career in the mid-1980s working on 'Astro-Busters' and 'The Roosevelt Project' for DC Comics. He then moved over to Marvel Comics, where he contributed to Marvel Universe, and to titles like 'Iron Man', 'Nightmask', 'Spitfire', 'Wonder Man', and the comic adaptation for the 'Robocop' movie. In 1990s, he additionally returned to DC with contributions to 'Catwoman' and 'Flash'. In this decade, he was a regular on Marvel's 'Ghost Rider', a title to which he returned in 2006.
