William Kresse studied at the high school of art and design, and went to work with Terrytoons in New Rochelle upon graduation. He then designed and drafted conoveyor belt systems for a while, and worked at the art department of Associated Press. Kresse eventually became a longtime illustrator and cartoonist for several New York City daily newspapers, including the Daily News and the Herald Tribune. With his friend Rolf Ahlsen, he created the comic strip 'Super Duper', which ran in the Daily News. Together, they often signed with Krahlsen.…Comiclopedia
