Antonio Rubino was one of Italy's most principal comic artists and illustrators. After earning a degree in law, Antonio Rubino turned towards a career in journalism and illustrating. His first job was illustrating the book 'L'Albatros' by Alberto Colantuoni, the grandfather of Tiberio Colantuoni. In the following years, he drew for magazines like Il Secolo XIX, Risorgimento Grafico, Il Giornalino della Domenica and La Lettura.
