Stefano Raffaele was born in Milan and made his professional comics debut with drawing the series 'Lazarus Ledd' from scripts by Ade Capone for Star Comics. Also with Capone, he made the mini-series 'Il potere e la gloria', the first Italian superhero comic. In 1995, Stefano Raffaele started working for the American market. His first work was for Valiant titles like 'Eternal Warrior' and the 'X-O Manowar Yearbook'.
