Magik (Illyana Nikolaievna Rasputina) (Russian: Ильяна Николаевна Распутина) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is depicted most often in relation to the X-Men, and first appeared in the comic book Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975). Magik is the younger sister of the Russian X-Men member Colossus and X-Men enemy Mikhail Rasputin. She is a member of a fictional species of humanity known as mutants, who are born with superhuman abilities.
