After studying Fine Arts in Paris, Florence Magnin started her career designing stage backgrounds for theatre, postcards, posters and covers. She also did illustrations for children's publications by Scandinavia, Hachette and Nathan. In 1984, she published her first comic story in the magazine Métal Hurlant. In the early 1990s, she returned to comics. Cooperating with Rodolphe, she created the fantasy series 'L'Autre Monde', published by Vaisseau d'Argent and later Dargaud.
