Eddy Ryssack was a Flemish comic artist and animator, best known as the creator of the humorous adventure series 'Brammetje Bram' (1970-1983). The adventures of a 17th-century cabin boy were not only a success in the Dutch magazine Eppo, but also translated in French ('Colin Colas') and German ('Pittje Pit'). Ryssack also created the gag comic 'Opa' (1975-1983) for Eppo and the strange forest creatures 'Les Schmouks' (1975) for Tintin magazine.
