Born in Bogota, Colombia, Carlos Garzón created his first character, 'El Dago', in 1967. In 1968, he took part in the creation of the review Super Historietas. From 1970, he published 'Calarcá' in the daily El Espectador. He has lived in the USA since 1975, where he works as an artist for companies like Marvel, DC and Dark Horse.
