André Chéret

André Chéret was a French comic book artist, who was co-creator of the intelligent caveman 'Rahan' (1969-2015), together with writer Roger Lécureux. The series became one of the staples of Pif Gadget. With its original outset, detailed artwork and dynamic framing, the blonde Cro-Magnon has become an icon of French comics.
