Born in Milan, Alberto Ponticelli drew since an early age, and won a contest for new comic artists in 1994. This got him his first publishing assignment, doing three 'D-Generation' issues. He founded the Shok Studio with Maurizio Rosenzweig, where he drew and published the 'Egon' miniseries, the 'Ragno' series and some 'Morgue' covers. In 1996, he got his first foreign assignment. He did layouts for Image's 'Sharky' miniseries and a 'Lobo' cover at DC. By now, the 'Egon' series was published in the USA through Dark Horse. Marvel Italia also reprinted it…Comiclopedia
