Summary for collectors in a hurry

Hake’s led the reported auction results with Mark Bagley’s New Warriors #10 cover at $28,524, above its $7,000–10,000 estimate.
Heritage sold Larry Lieber and Frank Giacoia’s Captain Britain #2 cover for $10,625, with Dick Ayers’ unused Two-Gun Kid #70 cover at $10,000.
eBay recorded Elzie Segar’s Popeye’s Ark original strip at $6,500, while Catawiki was led by Don Lawrence’s Storm original page at €2,900.

Hake’s sold 235 of 268 lots, totaling $222,839, with a median price of $428. The session was led by Mark Bagley and Larry Mahlstedt’s New Warriors #10 cover, which sold for $28,524, above its $7,000–10,000 estimate. Ron Lim and Joe Rubenstein’s Infinity Gauntlet #5 splash page followed at $12,455, slightly above its $8,000–12,000 estimate, while another Ron Lim Infinity Gauntlet #5 Thanos and Galactus splash page reached $9,356. Other higher results included Al Kilgore’s first Bullwinkle daily strip pencil art at $6,991, Jim Lee’s X-Men Annual #1 page layouts at $4,680, and Dave Cockrum’s Uncanny X-Men #156 page at $4,774.

Heritage offered more than 300 pieces and sold nearly all of them, with 364 sales totaling $249,001 and a $300 median. Larry Lieber and Frank Giacoia’s Captain Britain #2 cover sold for $10,625, Dick Ayers’ unused Two-Gun Kid #70 cover for $10,000, and Alex Toth’s Creepy #7 story page for $7,500. Michael Kaluta’s Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual illustration group and Bernie Wrightson’s unpublished Captain Sternn story page each sold for $9,375, while Humberto Ramos’ Empyre #2 Spider-Man variant cover reached $5,250.

Landry Pop Auctions sold 164 of 177 lots, totaling $53,188, with a $153 median. David Finch’s Walking Dead Deluxe #110 cover led at $2,286, below its $4,000–6,000 estimate, followed by Greg Land’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian #4 cover at $2,196, within its $2,000–4,000 estimate. Tony Daniel’s Batman: Faces of Death DC Essentials cover sold for $1,952, Earl Norem’s Amazing Spider-Man: The Big Top Mystery page for $1,651, and Ron Wilson and Mike Esposito’s Mighty World of Marvel unpublished cover for $1,586.

Catawiki sold 240 of 349 listed lots, totaling €40,633, with an €80 median. Don Lawrence’s Storm original page sold for €2,900. A group of dedications featuring Franquin, Hubinon, Morris, Graton, Roba, Jacques Martin, Will, Jidéhem, and Françoise sold as a multi-artist dedication lot for €1,978, while Giovanni Ticci’s Tex drawing reached €1,200. Other results included Gil Formosa’s Buck Danny back-cover drawing and a Will Eisner studio Spirit page, each at €850.

eBay reported notable marketplace auction sales led by Elzie Segar’s Popeye’s Ark original strip at $6,500. A Marvel Saga #18 Thor back cover signed by Keith Pollard and Al Milgrom sold for $3,000, Don Perlin’s Werewolf by Night #38 original page for $1,395, and John Rosenberger’s Adventures of the Fly #15 splash page for $1,275. Massimo Belardinelli’s 2000 AD The Dead original art sold for £672.54, about $900 or €790.

Raremarq sold 55 of 159 auction lots, totaling $16,720, with a $200 median. The top result was Artgerm’s Supergirl sketch cover at $2,290, followed by Sunao Saito’s Cassandra Cain illustration at $700, Borja Burgueño Moreno’s Symbiote Spider-Man sketch cover at $685, and Santa Fung’s Dark Phoenix sketch cover at $660.

Among smaller sources, mycomicshop.com sold all ten listed sketch and pin-up lots, led by Norm Breyfogle’s Prime sketch at $52. The misc / divers group included several low-price sales, led by a Norm-signed Detective Comics #611 page at $220.

eBay added a small auction group, led by Johnny Ryan’s Prison Pit original art group, currently at $800. John Romita Sr.’s Spider-Man pencil sketch is at $305, and Bill Vigoda’s Archie’s Pals ’n’ Gals #19 page is at $270.

Catawiki added a large run of active original art auctions. Current higher bids include Gil Formosa’s XIII vs Buck Danny page at €1,100, Corrado Roi’s Dylan Dog: Le Nebbie di Praga page at €400, Jan Bosschaert’s Sam original page at €275, Claudio Villa’s Tex cover at €320, and José González’s Ceremony of the Innocent drawing at €245.

Raremarq has both active auctions and fixed-price listings. In auction format, Jorge Molina’s Absolute Batman #22 variant cover is at $9,500, Steve Dillon’s Preacher #35 page is at $1,775, and a We Live Age of Palladions #1 cover bundle is at $1,400. Fixed-price additions include Marco Santucci’s Tyler Rake: An Extraction Story #4 cover at $2,000, Robyn Hood: Enter the Sandman cover at $1,500, and Alexis Ziritt’s Exquisite Corpses #1 variant cover at $1,200.

Thornbush Art listed a large fixed-price group, headed by Richard Corben’s Son of Mutant #4 painted cover at €100,000, Albert Uderzo’s Asterix, Obelix and Idefix cover at €75,000, Wallace Wood’s Haunt of Fear #6 title page at €60,000, Frank Miller’s Sin City Hell and Back double page at €26,000, and top-ranked Moebius with a mixed-media drawing at €26,000.

Neat Stuff Vault added two high-end DC pages: Keith Giffen and Larry Mahlstedt’s Legion of Super-Heroes #292 page at $39,995, and Don Newton and Frank Chiaramonte’s Detective Comics #513 Batman page at $33,329.

Essential Sequential listed Rafael Albuquerque’s Absolute Series connecting covers at $12,500, along with several Yildiray Cinar pieces from What If...? Spider-Man and Legion of Super-Heroes, including the What If...? Spider-Man #1 variant cover at $3,500 and the Legion of Super-Heroes #8 cover at $2,500.

Galerie Barbier listed top-ranked Moebius with Starwatcher original drawing at €8,000. Venere Comic Art added Massimiliano Frezzato’s Pinocchio illustration at €7,500, Klaus Janson’s Blood and Glory #1 splash page at €6,000, and Frank Cho’s Hunchback of Notre Dame illustration at €5,000.

Scott’s Collectables listed Werther Dell’Edera’s Something is Killing the Children #31 double page at £4,100, about $5,500 or €4,800, Kael Ngu’s G.I. Joe #1 cover at £3,060, about $4,100 or €3,600, and Michael Walsh’s Superman Red & Blue #1 cover at £3,035, about $4,000 or €3,600.

Kirby’s Comic Art added several David Mack Daredevil: Born Again official Marvel Studios pieces, including panel 3, panel 4, and panel 1, each at £6,500, about $8,700 or €7,600. Philippe Labaune Gallery listed multiple Paul Pope works, including Wang Dang Doodle at $7,000 and Untitled, 2025 at $6,000.

Kinetic Collectibles added a large selection of modern covers and interior pages, including Dani’s Batwoman #5 cover at $2,750, Luana Vecchio’s Post Malone’s Big Rig #2 variant cover at $2,500, and Laurence Campbell’s Hellboy & the B.P.R.D.: The Ghost Ships of Labrador #2 cover at $1,700. Nicola Scott also listed a large artist-direct group, led by Wonder Woman March Madness cover, Secret Six omnibus cover, and Superman Movie cover, each at $3,500.
