AZ auction sold 219 of 242 lots for €417,270, with a 90.5% sell-through rate. The main result was the Franquin Gaston gag page, sold for €160,000, above its €40,000–50,000 estimate. Other selected results included the Fournier Spirou page in four strips at €50,000, within its €50,000–60,000 estimate, Delaby’s Complainte des landes perdues double-page group at €4,500, and Derib’s Yakari illustration at €4,200, just above its €3,000–4,000 estimate.
Artcurial sold 116 of 186 lots for €489,200, with a 62.4% sell-through rate. Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy page from Robot Land sold for €60,930, above its €30,000–40,000 estimate. Hergé’s Tintin promotional illustration for L’Oreille cassée sold for €47,390, below its €50,000–70,000 estimate; Hergé’s Tintin and Snowy menu illustration reached €25,726, within estimate. Enki Bilal’s Berthold Kajeski cover illustration sold for €18,956, below its €20,000–25,000 estimate, while another Bilal Sommeil du Monstre illustration sold for €25,726, above its €10,000–15,000 estimate.
Heritage sold all 375 listed lots for $206,905. The top result was Phil Jimenez’s Star Trek / Legion of Super-Heroes #5 cover at $6,875, followed by Nick Dragotta’s Absolute Batman #2 page at $5,750, Dave Sim and Gerhard’s Cerebus #169 page at $4,500, John Buscema’s Conan daily strip at $4,500, and Cam Kennedy’s Star Wars: Boba Fett page at $2,625.
eBay results were led by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti’s Daredevil Vol. 2 #7 page at $5,000. Other sales in the extract included Norm Breyfogle’s Batman vs. Clayface original art at $1,825, Janine Johnston’s Elfquest: Blood of Ten Chiefs page at C$2,550, Ryan Ottley’s Invincible #79 page at $1,450, and Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim Vol. 5 page at €600.
Catawiki sold 313 of 419 lots for €56,597. Hermann’s Comanche page featuring Red Dust sold for €2,851, while Berck’s Sammy page from Rhum Row sold for €2,500 and another Berck Sammy boarding-school page also sold for €2,500. Willy Vandersteen’s Suske en Wiske page from De schone slaper reached €1,510, and Hector Leemans’ F.C. De Kampioenen cover sold for €1,200. Several featured lots, including Hermann’s Jeremiah cover, Jamie Hewlett’s Tank Girl page, Will Eisner’s Dropsie Avenue page, and John Buscema’s Astonishing Tales page, did not meet reserve.
Raremarq sold 47 of 121 lots for $35,795. Cédric Poulat’s Vampirella #10 original art was the top sale at $13,250, followed by Will Jack’s Mary Jane sketch cover at $3,850, Eric Chen’s Gwen sketches on shikishi board at $3,000, Arthur Adams’ Doctor Doom illustration at $1,520, and Kendrick Lim’s Emma Frost Gala Dress illustration at $1,123.
Mandarake Everyday sold four shikishi lots, led by Akari Kitou’s Sprite Fantasia shikishi at ¥35,000, about $220 or €190 using the supplied exchange rates. mycomicshop.com sold three sketch-cover lots, topped by Alfredo Reyes’ Peek A Boo #1E sketch cover at $73. Other small or irregular sources had limited activity, including an unsold James Carroll Mansfield High Lights of History drawing.
eBay new auction listings included Roger Cruz and Tim Townsend’s Uncanny X-Men #324 Wolverine page, currently at $580; Massimo Belardinelli’s 2000 AD The Dead original art, currently at £359; Michael Netzer’s Huntress #2 two-page group, currently at $202.50; Sean Gordon Murphy’s Joker sketch, currently at $203.50; and a Tim Levins Batman: Gotham Adventures page, currently at $154.50.
Catawiki opened or continued several notable auctions, including Frank Margerin’s Lucien page at €750, Gene Colan and Tom Palmer’s Tomb of Dracula #64 page at €600, Corrado Roi’s Dylan Dog Grand Guignol drawing at €550, Georges Pichard’s Germinal page at €360, and Mike DeCarlo and Todd Britton’s She-Hulk page at €102.
Raremarq auction activity included Miki Okazaki’s Power Girl variant cover at $7,200, Will Jack’s Poison Ivy sketch cover at $3,750, Will Jack’s Vampirella sketch cover at $3,050, Disanxian’s Magik Infernal Idol illustration at $1,200, and Arthur Adams’ All-New X-Men #25 page at $990.
Landry Pop Auctions listed a concentrated group of higher-estimate American comic art. The headline entries include Jim Lee and Scott Williams’ X-Men #2 title page, estimated at $70,000–100,000 and currently at $40,000; George Pérez’s Showcase ’93 #11 cover, estimated at $18,000–24,000 and currently at $12,000; and S. Clay Wilson’s Zap Comix #7 two-page sequence, estimated at $6,000–9,000 and currently at $3,500.
Romitaman added a large fixed-price group, with upper-end listings including Neal Adams and Dick Giordano’s JLA #96 oversized cover at $40,000, Curt Swan and Neal Adams’ Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen #121 cover at $18,000, John Buscema and Chic Stone’s Silver Surfer #16 page at $14,500, and Jim Lee and Scott Williams’ WildC.A.T.s / X-Men splash at $7,250.
Daniel Maghen listed Adrian Smith’s Warhammer original cover at €15,000, Grzegorz Rosinski’s Thorgal page from Les Trois vieillards du pays d’Aran at €10,000, and Ralph Meyer’s IAN: Leçon de ténèbres cover illustration at €5,000. Essential Sequential added Mahmud Asrar’s Absolute Catwoman #3 variant cover at $7,500 and Absolute Flash #16 variant cover at $4,500.
2DGalleries listed Enki Bilal’s La Femme Piège Playboy illustration at €72,500, Philippe Druillet’s Elric the Necromancer page at €25,000, Don Rosa’s Scrooge McDuck cover at €20,000, Richard Corben’s Aliens versus Predator: War cover at €14,800, and Jean Giraud’s Blueberry Hors la loi illustration at €14,000.
Raremarq Buy It Now included John Royle’s Zenescope Syke cover pencil art at $3,400, Javier Saltares and Mark Texeira’s Ghost Rider #6 page at $2,500, Mark Bagley and Randy Emberlin’s Carnage illustration at $2,000, and Arthur Adams’ Doctor Doom illustration at $1,499.
Galerie 9ème Art listed Enrico Marini’s Go West western illustration at €6,500 and Juan Gimenez’s Metabarons page at €3,200. Galerie Napoléon added Paul Gillon’s Jérémie dans les îles page at €4,800 and a Gillon Club des Cinq cover at €2,800.
Philippe Labaune Gallery listed new Richard Blake works, including Cyberpunk 2077 cover art at $2,900, Arrival at $2,600, and several pages from Lord of the Skies at $2,300 each. Shasta/Phoenix added a large group of fantasy and illustration art, including Kelly Freas’ Symbols, Thomas Yeates’ John Carter of Mars, Al Williamson’s Pirates of Venus study, and Richard Powers’ Tarzan and the Leopard Men, all listed as price on request.

The largest one-week gains were recorded by Tailspin Tommy, up from rank 3,773 to 178; Christophe Dubois, up from 3,739 to 187; David Nakayama, up from 2,809 to 9; Steve Lieber, up from 2,773 to 109; and John Van Fleet, up from 2,645 to 158.
