Heritage sold all of its more than 400 listed lots, totaling $412,385. The top result was Charles Schulz’s Peanuts daily with Snoopy at $34,160, followed by George Pérez and Dick Giordano’s complete Swordquest #2 story at $21,875, Charles Schulz’s Peanuts daily with Lucy and Violet at $11,590, and George Pérez and Romeo Tanghal’s New Teen Titans double splash at $10,937.50. Don Heck’s Iron Man illustration sold for $8,750, while Bill Morrison’s Bart Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror cover reached $8,540.
Goldin sold all 11 lots for a total of $70,629. The top result was Todd McFarlane, Peter David, and Jim Salicrup’s multi-signed Batman original art display at $20,740. Alex Ross’s Tom Strong #1 original art followed at $12,505, Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary’s Stormwatch page sold for $11,285, and Frank Miller and John Beatty’s framed Daredevil and Doctor Doom original art brought $10,372.44.
Zwiggelaar Auctions sold all 111 lots, totaling €131,963. Frans Piët’s Sjors en Sjimmie page from De Koekfabriek led at €12,521, followed by another Piët Sjors en Sjimmie page from De Gasbel at €11,862, also above its €1,200–2,400 estimate. Further Piët results included Het Verdwijnmiddel at €11,203 and De Baanbrekers at €9,226. Marten Toonder’s De Andere Wereld page sold for €5,272.
Swann Galleries sold all 173 lots for $279,843. Ernest Howard Shepard’s Wind in the Willows illustration sold for $31,680, above its $10,000–15,000 estimate. William Wallace Denslow’s Wizard of Oz first-edition illustration reached $26,400, below its $30,000–50,000 estimate, and another Shepard Wind in the Willows illustration sold for $23,760. Edward Gorey’s Thirteen illustration sold above estimate at $13,000, while Charles Addams’s Something in sneakers? cartoon sold for $11,000, below its $15,000–20,000 estimate.
Stanley Gibbons Baldwin’s offered more than 200 lots and sold 207, totaling £45,620. Antonio Prohias’s Spy vs. Spy boxing page and Spy vs. Spy title page each sold for £3,000, both below their £4,000–5,000 estimates. Roger Brand’s complete Tales of Sex and Death #2 story pages sold for £2,900, above estimate, and Clint Langley’s 2000 AD Lord of Misrule and Junker pages reached £2,400, also above estimate.
Vermot et Associés sold 385 out of over 600 listed lots, totaling €19,009. Guido Crepax’s Anita dedication drawing sold for €420, Jean-Jacques Sempé’s Enfances dedication for €400, and Milo Manara’s Borgia dedication for €370, above its €250–300 estimate. The sale mainly consisted of album dedications and smaller drawings.
Catawiki sold 310 out of close to 500 auction lots, totaling €33,118. Erich Von Götha’s The Troubles of Janice page and Olivier Grenson’s Niklos Koda page each sold for €800. A complete Shirafu Kiretsu manga story sold for €701, Philippe Luguy’s Percevan page reached €700, and Pierre Seron’s Les Petits Hommes page sold for €430. Several featured lots, including Gene Colan and Tom Palmer’s Tomb of Dracula page and Frank Margerin’s Lucien page, did not meet reserve.
Raremarq sold 54 out of 167 auction lots, totaling $38,108. Mirka Andolfo’s Harley and Ivy blank cover led at $5,050, followed by Will Jack’s Black Cat original art at $4,650, Homare’s Ms. Marvel illustration at $4,550, Will Jack’s Poison Ivy sketch cover at $3,750, and Will Jack’s Vampirella sketch cover at $3,150.
eBay sales were led by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti’s Daredevil Vol. 2 #7 page at $5,000, followed by Ryan Ottley’s Invincible #73 page at $3,000, Norm Breyfogle’s Batman vs. Clayface illustration at $1,825, Roger Cruz and Tim Townsend’s Uncanny X-Men #324 page at $1,136, and Jill Thompson’s Sandman portraits artwork at $1,025.
Other smaller results included Excalibur Auctions, where Jack Burnley’s Batman and Robin original art and George Tuska’s Iron Man story page each sold for £600, plus mycomicshop.com, where David Wenzel’s Kingdom of the Dwarfs character designs sold for $205.
eBay opened with Mark Bagley’s Amazing Spider-Man cover art, currently at $5,000. Other new auction listings include Ryan Ottley-related Invincible #118 page inks at $1,060, Gary Frank’s Geiger #23 page at $760, Mick Austin’s 2000 AD Finn painted cover at £450, Mike Nasser and Joe Rubinstein’s UK Spider-Man splash page at $305, and Adam Hughes and Jose Marzan’s Justice League #44 original art with sketches at $210.50.
Catawiki added a wide auction selection led by Gil Formosa’s Buck Danny T57 original cover at €3,200, Patrice Pellerin’s L’Épervier back-cover drawing at €1,990, Don Lawrence’s Storm page from De Wentelwereld at €1,400, Floyd Gottfredson’s Mickey Mouse daily strip at €605, and Hugo Pratt’s Corto Maltese page from La Jeunesse de Corto Maltese at €1,751.
Raremarq listed new auction material led by Bill Cao’s Gotham City Sirens #4 Punchline variant cover at $2,200, Miki Okazaki’s Savage Land Rogue sketch cover at $1,600, David Dias’s Magik sketch cover at $1,540, Leirix’s X-23 cover at $1,500, and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy pencil sketch at $950. Mike Mignola is one of this week’s top-ranked keywords.
Mandarake Big Web listed a large manga and illustration auction. Current bids include Yoshiharu Tsuge’s early short story manuscript at ¥1,500,000, about $9,300 / €8,100, Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto hand-drawn shikishi at ¥710,000, about $4,400 / €3,800, Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Son Goku shikishi at ¥455,000, about $2,800 / €2,500, and Osamu Tezuka’s Jungle Emperor Leo manuscript at ¥265,000, about $1,600 / €1,400.
Romitaman added a large fixed-price update, including Frank Frazetta’s published nude illustration plate at $50,000, Keith Pollard and Bruce Patterson’s Super-Villain Team-Up #17 cover at $42,000, Dick Giordano and Neal Adams’s JLA #96 cover at $40,000, Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott’s Fantastic Four #88 page at $21,000, and Mike Mignola’s Batman / Hellboy / Starman page at $13,000.
Panel Page Art listed Bart Sears’s Wizard #29 cover at $40,000, Joe Jusko’s Marvel Masterpieces Rogue card art and Marvel Masterpieces Shadowcat card art at $30,000 each, and Tom Morgan’s Marvel Universe Series 4 nine-card art group at $27,000.
La Galerie de la Bande Dessinée added a substantial group of Gilbert Shelton originals, led by The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers artwork at €20,000, three Freak Brothers pages including Fat Freddy gets religion, Franklin got his gun, and Phineas’s Big Show at €19,000 each, and Gilbert Shelton’s Motoring Tips at €13,000.
Huberty Breyne Gallery added an extensive Marc Hardy and Benjamin Bachelier selection. Hardy’s Pierre Tombal page from Des os pilants is listed at €7,050, followed by La Patrouille des Libellules page from Défaite éclair at €6,050, while Bachelier’s And no birds sing painting and Cheval rouge painting are each listed at €3,500.
Daniel Maghen listed Marcel Gotlib’s Pervers Pépère page at €7,000, Cosey’s Jonathan page from Et la Montagne chantera pour toi at €5,000, Steve Cuzor’s Cinq branches de coton noir page at €5,000, and Philippe Berthet’s Pin-Up illustration at €4,000.
ComicArtFans Classifieds included Rob Liefeld’s X-Force #4 page with Juggernaut at $20,000, Juanjo Guarnido’s cover for a Krassinsky graphic novel at €9,000, Arthur Adams’s Storm commission at $8,500, and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy page at $7,000.

Moebius, Mike Mignola, Batman, Spider-Man, and John Byrne occupy the top five positions this week. The rest of the top ten is Frank Frazetta, Milo Manara, Frank Miller, Jim Lee, and Enki Bilal.
The largest one-week ranking gains were recorded by Gambit, rising from rank 810 to 180, Stan Lee, from 549 to 196, Miles Hyman, from 491 to 151, Catwoman, from 455 to 134, and Earl Norem, from 404 to 121. Brent Anderson also moved from 308 to 52.
