The combined auction-house activity covered well over 700 lots, with a sell-through rate just above 90% and roughly $417,000 in reported sales after conversion. Marketplace auctions were larger in volume, with more than 900 lots tracked and roughly $174,000 in reported sales.
Septimus offered more than 300 lots and sold 278 of 333, for a total of €160,778. François Walthéry’s Natacha Cauchemirage title page sold for €15,240, within its estimate, followed by Yslaire’s large Sambre ink and watercolor illustration at €10,260, Hermann’s Caatinga original page at €6,604, Bédu’s Clifton Mortelle saison page at €5,715, and Turk’s Robin Dubois page with Clifton appearance at €7,366. Hermann’s Les Tours de Bois-Maury Alda page and Jean-Pierre Gibrat’s Le Vol du corbeau watercolor did not meet reserve.
Heritage sold all 363 lots for $213,707. Scott Hepburn and Dan Parsons’ Star Wars: The Clone Wars Ahsoka Tano story page was the top result at $22,500. Steve Rude’s Nexus comic strip page and John Buscema’s Conan the Barbarian daily strip each sold for $5,500, while Alberto Giolitti’s Turok group of 12 pages reached $5,000. Jim Lee’s Superman model sheet sold for $3,750, and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy illustration and signed print group sold for $3,500.
Landry Pop Auctions sold all 48 lots, totaling $16,320. Dave Manak’s ALF #47 cover led the sale at $1,206.50. Alex Saviuk and Frank Chiaramonte’s World’s Finest #281 page and Alex Saviuk and Dave Hunt’s Action Comics #571 page each sold for $889. Gustavo Vazquez’s What If? Civil War page group and Christopher Uminga’s Garbage Pail Kids vs. Mad Balls cover each sold for $698.50.
eBay had several notable reported sales in the tracked extract. Charles M. Schulz’s signed Peanuts drawing sold for $12,999, followed by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti’s Daredevil Vol. 2 #7 page at $5,000. Joe Madureira’s Uncanny X-Men #347 page sold for $3,470, a Norm Breyfogle Batman versus Clayface illustration sold for $1,825, and Clay Mann’s Absolute Batman #11 page sold for $1,500.
Catawiki sold 279 of 394 lots, totaling €75,950. Ralph Meyer’s Undertaker Salvaje page sold for €8,700, Ernie Chan’s Conan the Barbarian #104 cover for €7,020, and Hugo Pratt’s Corto Maltese Tango page for €6,100. Alex Alice’s Le Troisième Testament page sold for €2,800, while Moebius’ Histoire sans Titre page and Grzegorz Rosiński’s Thorgal page did not meet reserve.
Raremarq sold 56 of 175 lots for $23,978. David Dias’ Dark Phoenix Ultimate X-Men sketch cover sold for $3,500, Miki Okazaki’s Mary Jane illustration for $3,385, and Will Jack’s Harley Quinn sketch cover for $2,555. Steven Defendini’s Power Girl illustration sold for $1,520, and Yuhki Lily’s Gwenom illustration sold for $1,373.
mycomicshop.com reported three small sales, led by Ron Williams’ Fantastic Four #52 homage sketch at $48. todocoleccion had 134 auction lots tracked, with no reported sales in the supplied results.
eBay new auction activity included Nestor Redondo’s Secrets of Haunted House storyboard, already at $753, Janine Johnston’s Elfquest Blood of Ten Chiefs page at C$426, about $310 or €260, a JLA #194 interior page at $375, a Redondo House of Mystery #217 storyboard at $316, and a listed John Byrne original art piece at $305. Bids are current and may change.
Catawiki added several active lots, including Jamie Hewlett’s Tank Girl page at €1,550, Will Eisner’s Dropsie Avenue page at €1,000, John Buscema’s Astonishing Tales page at €796, Hermann’s Comanche Red Dust page at €1,101, and Alberto Breccia’s El Cirque Tragico page at €411.
Raremarq buy-now listings included a Flash: Future’s End pin-up at $1,200, Jeffrey Whiting’s Atom Eve illustration at $1,000, Mike Perkins’ Secret Avengers #14 cover at $750, Tolunay Keskin’s X-Men Alpha Emma Frost sketch cover at $600, and RB White’s Power Girl watercolor at $575. On the auction side, Cedric Poulat’s Vampirella 10 original art was already at $3,100.
Felix Comic Art listed a concentrated Batman update, led by Nick Dragotta’s Absolute Batman #18 cover at $55,000. Clay Mann’s Batman #130 cover is listed at $10,000, while Ryan Sook’s Batman #9 cover, Clay Mann’s Batman and Robin #1 cover, Chris Stevens’ Batman #1 cover, and Riley Rossmo’s Batman #1 cover are each listed at $5,000.
Panel Page Art added several higher-priced Marvel and DC pieces. Paul Ryan’s Marvel Age #117 cover is listed at $40,000, Steve Epting’s Captain America #1 page and Jack Kirby’s Thor #165 page are each at $35,000, while Gene Colan’s Strange Tales #169 page and Carmine Infantino’s Strange Adventures #205 page are each at $8,500.
Anthony’s Comic Book Art listed Robert McGinnis’ House on Q Street painted paperback cover at $32,500, Jim Mooney and Ross Andru’s Amazing Spider-Man #175 Punisher crossover page at $15,000, and two Luis Dominguez painted Saddleback Books covers, Great Expectations and Journey to the Center of the Earth, each at $7,500.
Galeria Komiksu posted a large Polish update. Tadeusz Baranowski’s Ecie-pecie volume I cover set is listed at 30,900 zł, about $8,500 or €7,300, and the volume II cover set at 30,800 zł, also about $8,400 or €7,300. Bogusław Polch’s Funky Koval Wrogie przejęcie page 46 is listed at 29,800 zł, about $8,200 or €7,000.
Galerie Barbier listed a full group of Elene Usdin pieces from Detroit Roma, including the deluxe-edition cover illustration at €10,000, a double page 70–71 at €6,000, and several pages or double pages between €3,000 and €4,000. Romitaman added John Buscema and Joe Sinnott’s Fantastic Four #136 collage splash at $8,500, Joe Staton’s Adventure Comics #461 splash at $7,500, and a Lee Sullivan Transformers #153 painted cover at $5,000.
Venere Comic Art listed Moebius’ Histoire sans Titre page at €8,000, Fernando Carcupino’s I Notturni #9 cover at €2,500, and Claudio Castellini’s Wolverine: The End page at €2,400. Galerie 9ème Art added a Studio Ghibli Porco Rosso production cel at €5,700, Hugo Pratt’s Morgan page 67 at €3,500, and Jean-Claude Mézières’ Valérian character illustration at €2,000.

AZ auction has over 200 lots scheduled, with several original pages and illustrated albums. Featured lots include a Spirou page 28B, Delaby’s Complainte des landes perdues pages 41 and 42, a Gaston gag page, and Derib’s Yakari illustration. Other listed lots include Hergé Studios’ Tintin pencil illustration, Hergé’s published ink illustration, and Moebius-related album lots such as John Difool volume 6 with drawing.
Tessier Sarrou has close to 200 lots in the calendar, mostly dedications, drawings, and related album material. Rosinski’s color dedication drawing carries a €1,500–2,000 estimate, Franquin’s historic Gaston dedication is estimated at €2,500–3,000, and Deliège’s set of 38 documents is estimated at €1,800–2,200. Mandarake has a small group of shikishi lots, including two hand-drawn shikishi currently at ¥6,500, about $40 or €35 each.
Moebius, Mike Mignola, Batman, Spider-Man, and John Byrne occupy the top five positions in this week’s keyword rankings. Jim Lee, Frank Frazetta, Milo Manara, Frank Miller, and Jean Giraud complete the top ten.
The strongest one-week gains in the supplied ranking data were recorded by Marjane Satrapi, up from rank 2821 to 15, Scott Hanna, up from 2923 to 199, Brent Anderson, up from 2546 to 38, Koi Turnbull, up from 2155 to 49, and Astonishing X-Men, up from 2090 to 14.
