Huberty Breyne held a major auction with more than 150 lots, achieving a total of €1,445,700 and an 84% sell-through rate. The headline result was Astérix Légionnaire original art by Albert Uderzo, which sold for €270,000, well above its estimate. Other notable sales included Corto Maltese portrait by Hugo Pratt at €51,000, Gaston Lagaffe original page by André Franquin at €45,000, and several Moebius pieces, with Cristal selling for €20,500. Collector favorites such as Gotlib’s Rhââ Lovely cover and Marc Jaguar cover by Maurice Tillieux also achieved strong results.
Heritage offered over 900 lots, all sold, for a total of $3,363,004. The top results included Arthur Adams’ Longshot #6 cover at $150,000, Stephen Platt’s Prophet illustration at $137,500, and a range of high-value pages and covers by Frank Miller, Peach Momoko, Sal Buscema, Tim Sale, and Mike Mignola. Collector favorites such as Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Strikes Again page and Tim Sale’s Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight page were among the highlights.
HVMC sold all 200 lots, totaling €389,186. The top result was Corto Maltese original by Hugo Pratt at €43,225, followed by Uderzo’s Magazine Pilote cover at €35,910 and Moebius’ Les Cristaux drawing at €19,950. Other notable sales included Sergent Kirk cover by Pratt and Astérix et Obélix illustration by Uderzo.
Excalibur Auctions presented 139 lots, all sold, with the top result being ABC Warriors Book 4 cover at £28,000. Brian Bolland’s Camelot 3000 page sold for £7,000, and TV Century 21 Doctor Who art by Ron Turner reached £2,800.
On eBay, the highest sales included Daredevil Vol 2 #7 page by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti at $5,000, The Walking Dead #20 page by Adlard at $670, and Scott Pilgrim Vol 5 page by Bryan Lee O’Malley at €600. Ron Frenz Amazing Spider-Man art and Bill Ward’s Conti Crayon artwork also achieved notable results.
Catawiki saw Blake et Mortimer page by Antoine Aubin sell for €1,700, Strontium Dog page by Carlos Ezquerra for €900, and Batman: The Dark Prince Charming drawing by Enrico Marini for €750. Several featured lots did not meet reserve.
Other auction houses and marketplaces reported a range of results, with Drouot Estimations selling a François Bourgeon cover for €1,700 and Moebius Blueberry drawing for €1,100.
eBay saw a wide range of new listings, including at least eight notable items: a Power Girl original art by Joe Staton and Joe Orlando (active auction), a Heat Seeker: A Gun Honey Series cover by Celina, a Centurions #2 page by Don Heck and Al Vey, a Nestor Redondo original, a Dejah Thoris page by Carlos Rafael, a Gary Frank Geiger page, a Aquaman title splash by Alex Saviuk and Dan Adkins, and a Bill Ward Conti Crayon artwork. These listings span classic Marvel and DC characters, as well as independent and modern series.
Catawiki added several featured items, including a Kim Jung Gi original drawing (active auction), a Corto Maltese strip by Hugo Pratt, a Margot Queen of the Night page by Frezzato, a El Cirque Tragico page by Alberto Breccia, and a Paperino page by Romano Scarpa. Other new listings include Spirou et Fantasio homage by Makyo and Café de la Mode drawing by Antonio Lapone.
Raremarq introduced new fixed-price and auction listings, with at least five notable items: a Batman #10 variant cover by Jorge Molina (sold for $9,000), a Vampirella portrait sketch by Michelle Dias, a Psylocke by Rafa Schneider, a Zatanna sketch cover by Disanxian, and a Wonder Woman by Laura Branham. Other highlights include Princess Leia and Jabba illustration by Tolu and Power Girl JLU blank cover by Kevin Pacherrez.
Panel Page Art listed several high-end pieces, including a Watchmen #7 cover by Dave Gibbons ($350,000), a What If #13 cover by Jim Lee ($80,000), and a Daredevil #36 cover by Gene Colan ($75,000). Other new arrivals include a Justice League of America #64 splash by Dick Dillin and a Sgt. Rock #14 cover by Joe Kubert.
ArtKomiks added a selection of European and American original pages, including The Super Friends #42 (60,000 zł), Wimmen’s Comix #4 (40,000 zł), and Tintin: Le Mariage page (7,000 zł). Other listings feature New Gods vol 4 #11 complete comic and The Ghost in the Shell A14.
Galerie Barbier listed Elric le Nécromancien page by Philippe Druillet (€25,000), Nymphes original by Vince (€3,500), and Cages #6 page by Dave McKean (€2,500). Other new arrivals include Elric le Nécromancien page 9 and Elric le Nécromancien page 4.
Other dealers such as Corner4art, Essential Sequential, ComicArt.dk, and Pop Sequentialism listed a variety of new items, including Indiana Jones portrait by Sanjulian, Batman 89’ Echoes #2 by Rafael Albuquerque, and Poeten og Lillemor: Andemor 02 by Jørgen Mogensen.
Several other dealers and galleries listed a handful of new items, mostly under $1,000, with a focus on European and independent comics.

Several auctions are scheduled for the coming week. misc / divers will offer a Hans Kresse Arendsoog and Witte Veder cover (current bid €1,500), multiple Dick Matena De Avonden original pages (each at €400), and a Nicola Genzianella Dampyr page (current bid €75.12). The sale also includes a Jijé Jerry Spring portrait and a Antonio de Vita Le Petit Duc page.
AZ auction features a Chevalier Ardent original page by Craenhals (current bid €150), a Génial Olivier gag page by Devos (current bid €130), and a Luc Tremplin set by Craenhals. Other highlights include Les Inoxydables pages by Parras and Isabelle illustration by Will.
Heritage continues with a large selection of original comic art, including a Weird Western Tales #25 complete story by Noly Panaligan (current bid $1,812.50), a George Pérez Avengers #202 page ($1,312.50), and a Walt Kelly Pogo Sunday strip ($1,031.25). Other featured lots include a Marc Silvestri Civil War: The Initiative page and a John Romita Jr. Uncanny X-Men #184 page.
eBay has several active auctions, including a Power Girl original by Joe Staton and Joe Orlando (current bid $470), a Centurions #2 page by Don Heck and Al Vey ($399.99), and a Nestor Redondo original ($348). Other listings include a Dejah Thoris page by Carlos Rafael and a Aquaman splash by Alex Saviuk and Dan Adkins.

This week, Raoul Giordan, Erik Kriek, Steve Lavigne, Huntress, and Hush made the most notable gains, each rising significantly in the rankings compared to the previous week.
