Weiss Auctions offered two notable Peanuts daily strips: the 1959 "Character Traits" daily sold for $22,500, and the 1955 "AAUGHH!" daily realized $20,500, both within their estimates. These were the highest results of the week for original comic strip art.
Heritage presented a large selection of American and British original comic art, with 337 lots all sold. Standout results included Alan Davis’s D.R. & Quinch page at $4,250, Sal Buscema and Mike Esposito’s Hulk page at $3,625, and Steve Ditko and John Byrne’s Avengers Annual page at $3,500. Other highlights were a Harley Quinn illustration by Bruce Timm and a Conan Saga cover preliminary by Barry Windsor-Smith, each at $5,000. The auction included a wide range of material, from Golden Age to Modern, with a median price of $263 and a total of $186,127 in sales.
Landry Pop Auctions sold all 46 lots, with a Sonic the Hedgehog page by Dave Manak and Rich Koslowski at $400 and a JLA Classified page by Randy Green and Andy Owens at $350 among the featured items. Most results were within or below estimate.
Tessier Sarrou offered 31 lots, selling 24. The top result was a Ciriello gouache illustration at €1,000, with other sales including a Gazzotti ink and pencil illustration at €230 and a Brüno ink illustration at €420.
Other auction houses and smaller sources saw a variety of sales, with misc / divers reporting a Buth comic strip group and Jean Vermeire WWII cartoons each at €451.5.
On eBay, a Popeye daily by Elzie Segar sold for $6,000, a Captain America page by John Romita Sr. and Joe Sinnott for $4,550, and a Cerebus page by Dave Sim & Gerhard for about $2,480 (converted from C$3,375). Other notable results included a Bill Sienkiewicz Batman illustration at $2,575 and a Milo Manara original drawing at $1,760.
On Catawiki, a Corto Maltese page by Hugo Pratt sold for €8,750, a Nero page by Marc Sleen for €1,851, and a Dropsie Avenue page by Will Eisner for €1,452. Other sales included a Lady Death/Witchblade cover by Romano Molenaar at €1,077 and a Moebius Starwatcher plaque at €1,390.
Raremarq saw a Invincible cover sketch by Carla Cohen sell for $2,000, a Magik sketch cover by Borja Burgueño Moreno for $1,900, and a Gambit sketch by Andy Kubert for $1,800. Other results included a Homare commission at $1,700 and a Rogue by Homare at $1,500.
eBay saw a significant number of new listings, including a Mark Bagley/John Dell Avengers 800 splash page, a Cam Kennedy Judge Dredd original, a Magik sketch by Celina, a Mike Mignola Green Lantern illustration, and a Zatanna commission by Rachta Lin. Other notable additions were a sketch by The Stranger, a Princess Leia sketch, and a Doctor Who page by Charlie Adlard. Several Archie cover originals by Stan Goldberg were also listed.
On Catawiki, featured new listings include a Corto Maltese strip by Hugo Pratt, a Tank Girl page by Jamie Hewlett, a Moebius page from Galaxies #69, a recent Avengers page by Alan Davis, and a Strontium Dog page by Carlos Ezquerra. Other highlights are a Breccia page from El Viajero and a Dylan Dog page by Angelo Stano.
Raremarq added several high-end items, including a Batman #7 variant cover by Jorge Molina, a Bill Sienkiewicz Harley Quinn sketch, a Gun Honey #1 cover by Celina, and a Gotham City Sirens #4 Punchline variant by Bill Cao. Other notable listings are a Maya Miyazaki commission slot, a four-page story by Al Hartley, and a Black Cat illustration by RB White. Several sketch covers and commissions by contemporary artists are also available.
Graphic Collectibles listed a Jungle Jim Sunday by Alex Raymond at $48,000, a Combat #6 cover by Jerry Robinson at $29,500, and a Detective Comics #79 page by Jerry Robinson at $15,000. Other new arrivals include several Golden Age pages by Jerry Robinson and a Mystery Tales #7 page by Jerry Robinson.
Galerie 9ème Art added a Watchmen page by Dave Gibbons at €35,000, a Donald Duck page by Carl Barks at €30,000, and a Sin City illustration by Frank Miller at €25,000. Other highlights include a Tarzan Sunday by Harold Foster and a Winsor McCay Dream of the Rarebit Fiend.
Will's Comic Art Page listed a Wonder Woman #120 cover by George Perez at $31,000, a Detective Comics #995 cover painting by Mark Brooks at $22,995, and a Black Lightning #3 cover by Rich Buckler and Vince Colletta at $15,000. Other new listings include a Magic: The Gathering painting by Adam Paquette and a The Invaders splash by Frank Springer and Alan Kupperberg.
Romitaman added a Peanuts daily by Charles Schulz at $30,000, a Marvel Try-Out Book splash by Al Milgrom and John Romita Jr. at $17,500, and a Justice League America #70 half-splash by Dan Jurgens and Rick Burchett at $10,000. Other new arrivals include a Man-Thing #1 page by Sal Trapani and Val Mayerik and a What If? #4 page by Keith Williams and Mark Bagley.
Scott's Collectables listed a DNX #1-5 connecting cover set by Federico Vicentini at £22,000, a Star Wars: Shadow of Maul #1 cover by Elena Casagrande at £1,850, and a Alias #1 cover by Elena Casagrande at £1,850.
Daniel Maghen added a Mattéo page by Jean-Pierre Gibrat at €12,000, a Méta-Baron page by Juan Gimenez at €8,500, and a Blanche cover painting by Vincent Mallié at €8,500.
Other dealers such as More Great Art, Panel Punk Comics Originals, ComiConArt, and Corner4art listed a variety of new items, with a focus on contemporary and independent artists. Several smaller dealers and galleries added a handful of new pieces, mostly under $500 or €500.

Mandarake (Big Web) is holding a major auction with a large selection of high-profile manga and anime art. Featured lots include a Hayao Miyazaki hand-drawn color shikishi of Pazu, an Akira Toriyama hand-drawn shikishi of Senbei Norimaki, and a Dragon Ball Son Goku shikishi. Other highlights are a Kentaro Miura hand-drawn manuscript, a Tetsuo Hara Kenshiro shikishi, and an Osamu Tezuka Astro Boy shikishi. Bidding is already active, with several lots above ¥1,000,000 (about $6,400 or €5,400).

This week, Philippe Bertrand, The Trigan Empire, Nemesis the Warlock, Dick Matena, and Forever People made the most notable gains, each rising significantly in the rankings compared to the previous week. Valiant Comics and Dungeons & Dragons also showed strong upward movement.
