ComicConnect posted the largest original art total of the week, selling 581 of 583 lots for $2,152,313, with a median price of $695. John Romita Sr.’s Amazing Spider-Man #50 interior page led the session at $212,750, followed by Bernie Wrightson’s House of Mystery #195 cover at $196,905 and George Pérez’s Comics Interview #6 cover at $164,577. Other notable results included Charles M. Schulz’s 1953 Peanuts daily strip at $57,615, Moebius’ Marvel Tales #253 cover at $57,500, Tony Moore’s Walking Dead #2 splash page at $52,900, Tim Sale’s Batman: The Long Halloween #7 splash page at $40,248, and Neal Adams’ Superman #213 cover at $33,482.
Landry Pop Auctions sold 58 of 83 lots for $228,791, with a median price of $1,334. The top lot was Jim Lee and Scott Williams’ X-Men #2 title page, which sold for $69,850, just below its $70,000–$100,000 estimate. Sal Buscema and Jack Abel’s Incredible Hulk Annual #5 page reached $30,480, just above its $20,000–$30,000 estimate, while George Pérez’s Showcase ’93 #11 cover sold within estimate at $19,050. S. Clay Wilson’s Zap Comix #7 story pages sold within estimate at $8,255, and Peach Momoko’s Kang the Conqueror #1 variant cover made $10,795.
Heritage sold all 393 listed pieces, totaling $200,623, with a median price of $238. Larry Lieber and Frank Giacoia’s Mighty World of Marvel #200 cover led at $10,625, followed by Joe Albelo and Pierre Fournier’s Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham #10 cover at $9,375 and Phil Jimenez’s Star Trek / Legion of Super-Heroes #6 cover at $6,875. John Buscema’s Conan the Barbarian partial Sunday strip sold for $4,000, while Chuck Jones’ Pepé Le Pew and Elmer Fudd illustration brought $1,586.
Nate Sanders offered two original Charles Schulz pieces, both sold: the 1959 Peanuts strip with Charlie Brown as Snoopy reached $31,250, and the Christmas-themed Peanuts strip sold for $25,000. Potter & Potter sold all five tracked lots, led by Charles Addams’ New Yorker hearse cartoon with letters at $10,000, below its $20,000–$30,000 estimate; Alison Bechdel’s Dykes to Watch Out For #315 strip sold for $1,100, below its $1,500–$2,500 estimate.
BDEnchères sold 192 of 211 lots for €23,287, with a median price of €80. Lambil’s Les Tuniques Bleues illustration led at €1,600, followed by Manara’s Le Déclic layout at €650 and two Mittéï illustrations, Car and C’est pas croyable, also at €650 each. The featured Hausman Capitaine Trèfle original page sold for €600, below its €800–€1,000 estimate.
Excalibur Auctions sold all 58 tracked lots, totaling £14,075. The top result was a mixed portfolio of original comic art, mostly DC Thomson-related, sold for £3,000, or about $4,000 / €3,500. Other British comics art group lots included The House of Dolmann eight-page feature at £800 and The Steel Claw group of eleven pages at £650.
Catawiki sold 273 of 389 lots, totaling €37,719, with a median price of €77. Giulio De Vita’s Kriss de Valnor original page led the tracked results at €1,400, followed by Corrado Roi’s Nathan Never Gigante page at €1,137 and Régis Loisel’s nude original drawing at €1,000. Alberto Breccia’s El cirque tragico page sold for €402, Paul Deliège’s Jaap page with color guide for €255, while Claude Pelet’s Ballade au bout du monde page did not meet reserve.
eBay’s tracked extract was led by Mark Bagley’s Amazing Spider-Man cover art at $6,300 and Joe Quesada with Jimmy Palmiotti’s Daredevil Vol. 2 #7 page at $5,000. Other higher results included Norm Breyfogle’s Batman vs. Clayface illustration at $1,825, Gary Frank’s Geiger #23 page at $1,680.55, John Byrne’s Amazing Spider-Man #5 page at €1,500, John Byrne and Klaus Janson’s Wolverine #21 page at $1,225, and Alex Saviuk with Dan Adkins’ Aquaman title splash at $966.
Raremarq sold 46 of 141 lots, totaling $22,264, with a median price of $240. The top result was David Dias’ Magik sketch cover at $3,720, followed by Miki Okazaki’s Savage Land Rogue sketch cover at $1,700, Frank Cho’s Fantastic Four sketch cover at $1,623, Leirix’s X-23 cover at $1,500, and Bill Cao’s X-Men ’97 Rogue sketch cover at $1,200.
Smaller tracked sessions included Fauve Paris, where Morris’ Joe Dalton drawing sold for €685; mycomicshop.com, where Ron Williams’ Silver Surfer #4 homage sketch sold for $81; Julien’s, where three classic strip lots each sold for $25; Russ Cochran, where Ole Henry daily art sold for $30; and Mandarake (Everyday), where the tracked lots were reproduction shikishi rather than primary original comic art.
eBay added several active auctions in the tracked extract. Notable pieces include Juan Gedeon’s Jurassic League #1 cover at $1,499.99, Michael Netzer’s Huntress #2 pages at $435, Dan Brereton’s ThunderCats Lion-O painting at $355, a Strike Force Morituri #9 page at $340, J. Scott Campbell’s Danger Girl Abbey pencil sketch at $232.50, Mike S. Miller’s MEG splash page at $200, and Ariel Olivetti’s Absolute Batman color sketch at $168.50.
Catawiki’s newly tracked auction listings include Rurusa Shinano’s S.Teatcher complete story at €700, Tomo Chiyoji’s Miss 130 complete story at €600, Dan Jurgens and Mike DeCarlo’s Warlord #66 page at €500, Gene Colan and Tom Palmer’s Tomb of Dracula #64 page at €400, and Milo Manara’s Jolanda de Almaviva pages at €300.

Finished and cover-related pieces include Dave Dorman’s Lando Calrissian original art at $5,500, Frank Cho’s Zatanna #1 sketch cover at $2,020, Bill Cao’s Gotham City Sirens #4 Punchline cover at $2,000, Frank Cho’s Power Girl sketch cover at $1,770, Disanxian’s Supergirl wraparound sketch cover at $1,600, and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy pencil sketch at $950.
Albert Moy listed a high-end group led by Frank Miller’s Daredevil #189 page at $185,000, Barry Windsor-Smith’s unused Conan #9 cover at $85,000, Michael Golden’s Punisher War Journal #19 cover at $50,000, Alex Ross’ Marvels #3 page at $35,000, Bill Sienkiewicz’s Rom Annual #3 cover at $35,000, Jack Kirby’s Avengers #8 page at $30,000, and Frank Miller’s Sin City: Hell and Back #7 cover at $25,000.
La Galerie de la Bande Dessinée added a large selection of original animation production art, including One Piece and Dragon Ball Z material. Highlights include a Monkey D. Luffy genga from One Piece episode 3 at €15,000, a Luffy action douga at €5,000, a Son Goku Super Saiyan 2 Kamehameha douga at €5,000, a Son Goku Super Saiyan 3 genga at €4,000, and a Ken Kaneki Tokyo Ghoul genga at €4,000.
Nostalgic Investments listed Jim Aparo’s Brave and the Bold #118 page with the Joker at $15,000, Jack Kirby’s Kamandi #16 splash page at $11,000, Bill Everett’s Sub-Mariner #57 page at $6,500, Jack Kirby’s Devil Dinosaur #4 page at $5,500, and Gray Morrow’s Adventure Comics #415 Zatanna half splash at $4,500.
Romitaman added a deep selection of Marvel and DC pages, including John Buscema and George Klein’s Avengers #55 page at $14,000, Herb Trimpe and Sal Trapani’s Incredible Hulk #164 splash page at $13,000, Joe Kubert’s G.I. Combat #133 double splash group at $5,500, Dale Keown’s Nth Man #8 splash at $4,600, and Jack Kirby’s Kamandi #20 page at $4,400.
Daniel Maghen listed Luis Royo’s Malefic Time science-fiction illustration at €8,000 and Luna y Marte illustration at €6,000, alongside Joël Parnotte pages from Cauchon... Ou l’homme qui tua Jeanne d’Arc and Warnauts & Raives covers and pages from Ciel d’orages and Purple Heart. The largest one-week gains were recorded by Ghita of Alizarr, rising from rank 3,911 to 56; Gary Martin, from 3,793 to 52; Ray Dirgo, from 2,905 to 174; Peter Bagge, from 2,525 to 109; and Mike Peters, from 2,324 to 61. Other notable upward moves include Zanzim, Goran Sudzuka, and Ken Parker.
